Christmas has been a little lame around here, with two out of five in bed for two days with knock-out fevers and hacking coughs. If I’ve learned nothing else from this, it’s to focus on what’s good, not what’s missing.
Today, as we headed to the orthodontist to take care of the wire that was poking The Girl for the entire holiday, I looked at her outfit and realized the days look a lot less grey when they are seen from under the brim of a sequined fedora. Here’s hoping we all figure out how to add our own sparkle to our days.
