Cristie Ritz King, LAC, NCC, RYT
A million years ago I started The Traveling Circus as a personal blog to write about my family and our appearance on HGTV’s Real Estate Intervention. Our brush with TV fame coincided with an out of state move so I needed a way to keep everyone in our large extended family connected. What started out as daily stories and birthday letters to my kids (that are all still here for them as they grow up and need a little time capsule) has morphed into a place where people come for a supportive parenting community, sometimes comic relief and maybe even a little inspiration. This blog has become an extension of the work I do and the dreams I pursue. No two families look alike and happiness is something we have the power to define. I hope Reinvention Family and all that we do here can be used as resources for parents and families trying to find their own homegrown happiness. If you are interested in personal or family work, see our Reinvention Retreats page for more information.
My passion for families and children, combined with years of research and schooling in education and psychology make me a successful speaker for parents, bloggers and companies about parenting and family wellness. I have spoken to various groups, such as school faculties, high school health classes, PTAs and small businesses, about topics such as trauma informed teaching, consent and what to expect from college, empowered parenting, working parent wellness, and managing holiday stress. If you are hosting an event, I am available for speaking as well as consulting.
I do reviews, product use videos, experiential posts etc. and amplify via social media profile
