This morning, The Middle One had a before school sulk fest. It happened I’ve before and I called his teacher who was shocked because he wasn’t displaying any signs of sadness to her. So today I didn’t call, figuring he’d get himself together before he reached class.
He didn’t. She called me about two hours in to investigate because he was sad and unwilling to work all morning.
By the time we talked he was actually fine, but she confirmed my suspicion that he might need a little extra TLC today. So, I’m writing this post from my phone as I watch The Baby conquer Wii. I’m spending extra time with him so that when his broth er gets home from school, I can devote my time to extra momma love.
Sometimes, that’s all we need, a reminder that we are supremely important to someone. I intend to show my boy just that.
This post was uploaded from an app on my phone. Please excuse the funky spacing and less than stellar picture quality.

my son is exactly the same. I always know when the extra TLC is just what he needs!

That’s all it took-a little extra snuggle and he’s back to his old delightful self.
