I love Charlie and Lola. One of my favorite things about my daughter is that she brought this cheeky duo into my life. If you haven’t seen them on the Disney Channel-you must. Even if you don’t have kids you’ll enjoy. My S.I.L even set an alarm (in college!) to watch them one Saturday morning. (She’ll kill me for that but I am trying to make a point here.)
I picked up a new C&L book at Barnes and Noble this weekend for the kids and I just have to share. It is called, We are Extremely-Very-Good Recyclers. (I mean c’mon what’s not to love?) In it, my favorite British duo and all their pals (Lotta is my fave) take the kids on a recycling adventure and explain not only why, but how to take better care of the Earth. There is even a poster in the back for the kids to hang and chart their Earth Efforts. It’s fantastic. Thank you Lauren Child, you have done it again.

I have read almost everything C&L at read aloud. I love them too!! Of course my accent is much thicker when we are at home. (hee hee)
