Are you sick of me complaining about the cold? I am! Seriously, I learned a while ago that if I didn’t make a concerted effort to fight off Old Man Winter, than he would take me down…hard. I have serious seasonal mood shifts and it used to be all I could do just to smile from December to April. These days, I work at being happy in winter. Watch to see what silly things I do and then share your own tips for beating winter blues in the comments below.

Yes! I suffer from SAD too and the winter months are so hard. I take Vitamin D supplements. If there is actual sunshine, I will smash myself against the glass door. I get a little crazy. Mostly, I try to keep busy like you. I visit people or take my little ones on outings. It kills me to stay home when it’s dreary and depressing. Great post!

I can so relate to smashing yourself in the glass door! I CRAVE sun in the winter time so I am right there with you-squeezed in a corner, under a window on the carpet like a cat.;)

Love sitting in the car with the sun beating down on me! My house is freezing and the only place I am ever warm is in the car, between the sun and me blasting the heat it is quite toasty in my car. I understand why bears hibernate because I would totally do the same if I could. I also sometimes throw a heating pad on my shoulders because I believe heat cures everything that ails you and it feels so good on those cold winter days! I am definitely not one of those people who can go outside in the cold unless it’s 55 or warmer.

Cathy-we are kindred spirits! If it was socially acceptable I’d stay inside from Dec 26th through mid-March! And everywhere I’ve ever lived, the house is always freezing. What is that?!?
