I wrote a post yesterday for Yahoo! that garnered some interesting responses. First, they changed the title but that’s the agreement you make when you post on a public site. That’s not the point though. I wrote it as a way to come to terms with what I felt about my roles in life. I did not write it seeking validation (I only seek that from myself). I did not write it to make comments on anyone else’s choices or to even say mine was right or wrong for anyone other than me. I most certainly DID NOT mean it as any kind of commentary on working versus staying at home with kids. My personal belief is that you do what’s right for you and your family and THAT is the correct choice-whatever it is.
Right now, I’m doing the best I can with that I have and it’s working. That, quite simply, is all that I meant to say. You can decide for yourself if I did or not, right here.

Cristie, I thought that you were very clear and that your point was well made! I'm so happy to be at home with my boys too! Don't pay attention to the vomiter!
