Delicious. That is how I would describe my evening. The Husband was at his company Christmas party so I had no one to cook for or entertain after bedtime. I fed the kids (and myself) take out pizza. I was always on a quest for NYC pizza when I lived in DC. Then I moved to New Jersey and it is everywhere so I thought I’d get sick of it. Nope.
After I had the kids to bed and the kitchen in fighting shape for today, I turned off my computer and got in my pajamas for my own personal viewing of Julie and Julia.
Delicious.
Everything about the movie and the night was so delightfully “chicky” that I went to bed with a nice warm heart (and dreams of beef bourguignon).
I won’t get into details. I am not a movie reviewer. I will say it’s Nora Ephron-so ladies-you know that means warm and happy. If you haven’t seen the movie-do. See it if you want a dose of what good marriages look like to even out your Tiger coverage. See it if you love food and want to feel good about it. See it if you’re not quite sure what to do when you grow up. See it if you need to be inspired, or just entertained. Just see it. **
It is delicious.
** Just maybe don’t rent it on Comcast on Demand like I did, because then it may cut out on you 3/4 of the way through. You will then have to fast forward it once the cable comes back on because you don’t want to miss the last 15 minutes but when you try to “play from current location” it goes back to the beginning. So, yeah, get the DVD.;)

My mom loves this movie and I know Santa is giving it to her for Christmas so I will definitely borrow it from her!
