When The Husband travels I tend to let a few tasks go by the wayside. It’s not that he does too much around here (sorry honey) but I find even the few things he takes care of can be too much to add when he’s not here. For instance, making coffee the night before sounds daunting to me most nights. Cleaning the pot, filling the tank adding the grounds? Yeah, can’t even imagine,
However, going without coffee-especially when I’m flying solo is not the answer and Starbucks every day is not in the cards. Thank goodness for my Tassimo Home Brewing System. It usually stays tucked into a tiny corner unless we have guests, but on the days I’m alone, my Tassimo allows me to wake up and racing around feeding and dressing kids while also brewing a hot cup of coffee, cappuccino or tea in about a minute. My drink is fresh, hot and easy to clean up after. Come to think of it, this description makes it sound like this is a great mate for me even when The Husband isn’t away!

DH and I have very different coffee tastes and have fought over this for years. He prefers a dark roast and I prefer something more mellow and smooth. It is hard having a mixed marriage. 🙂 I think it is time we tried a single cup brewer… I am tired of having to drink instant. Please save me!

I’d love this! I don’t drink coffee, but my husband does, so it would be nice to have one machine that would make BOTH of us caffeinated beverages!
That was my thought too-I could start drinking tea. So far it hasn’t happened but I’m hoping!
I’ve been wanting something like this for my late afternoon cup. I’m sure it would taste better than the cup I reheat in the microwave.

My clock is ticking! Iced-coffee!
I can barely make it Out of bed without my morning cup of “life”! As a mother of five children (not including the husband!), that morning cup of coffee is not only a nice-to-have, it is a necessity! So when I saw your post on facebook, my eyes lit up…first time something woke me up before the coffee (I know, pitiful life I lead). I could actualyy rollover and make a cup of coffee…before getting out of bed??? Totally beats the horrible sounds coming from our room one may hear if you lived near us…the sounds of a coffee-addicted wife yelling at her husband to “don’t forget my coffee…NOW!”. So I am hoping that my neighbors will no longer be terrorized by my screams, and I can finally wake up with a smile!
