This post is not about my daughter’s very first real-life-on-a-stage-dance recital like I hinted at yesterday. That post is still brewing. I have found it is harder for me to write about her doing something I only ever dreamed of than I thought it would be.
So today I will hopefully make you laugh because, simply put; sometimes, kids are just damn funny.
Yesterday as I finished pouring drinks in the kitchen and the kids sat at the dinner table I heard this:
The Baby: IWANTORANGEJUICENOTMILKINMYCUPJUSTORANGEJUICE. (deeeeep breath) NOWMAMA.
(Yes, it came out as all one word and yes, the caps are on purpose because he was SCREAMING!)
The Girl: (In response to the juice not milk rant) Mom, I think G has a bad case of Whine Flu. Get it? Not swine but Whine Flu?
No a hot second later…
The Middle One: Mom, are these black beans in this chili or are they fart beans?
Silence………
Followed By:
All Four of Us: HYSTERICAL LAUGHTER (Yes, the caps are on purpose because we were LOUD!)
Fart Beans? Whine Flu? You can’t make this crap up.
Somedays I freakin’ love these crazy kids.

Too funny. And will there be video included with the "the first on stage dance recital" blog??? Would love to see that.
