I know I already posted, but I am peeved. How come every time I like a show, it gets cancelled? Also, how come they cancelled this particular show late. Yeah, they cancelled it after that spring day where Kevin likes to come home all smug-ass like and tell me, like he’s the smartest television god that ever lived, “oh that show you loved, it’s not coming back.”
I swear he goes to work and freakin‘ waits for the announcement out of Hollywood just to sock it to me and suck the small level of joy I take from happy sitcoms.

I digress. I will save my Kevin tv-hater post for later. (The irony-he usually loves the shows too. His behavior is bizarre really.)
The particular show I’m referring to is Samantha Who?. (Don’t edit me the show has a question mark in it.) It is not an artistic masterpiece. In fact, when I heard the premise (Mean Alpha Girl gets amnesia and tries to turn into better person) I thought it would be a total loser show. Turns out-I love it.
Samantha is Christina Applegate who bravely battled breast cancer during the first season which probably got the show extended for another season. In addition to heroic, she is adorable and cutely quirky but definitely only ONE of the best parts of the show.
Jennifer Esposito is, as always, hysterical as Andrea (AAAHH ndrea). She is the mean former best friend who is deliciously shallow and delightfully soulless. Dena who is played by Suki from Gilmore Girls (sorry actor lady, you’ll always be Suki to me) is the girl that used to be Samantha’s friend when they were kids and now they’re friends again because Samantha is turning over a new leaf. Todd who is played by The guy who used to kiss-or be related to (never watched it so not sure) Jessica Biel in Seventh Heaven (he has an old guy name-Barny, Henry somethin‘) is ex-boyfriend but current roommate. Todd is dreamy in a nerd- on -your- couch sort of way.
See even in the retelling it sounds like a terrible show. (This is why I don’t write a super popular entertainment blog.) But it wasn’t. It was cute and it made me smile. Sometimes it made me laugh out loud. It was simple.
Is that so wrong?
Mean Hollywood.
You better keep your mitts of Glee.

I've never seen this show, but I know how you feel! Every show I've ever really liked (except Melrose Place – which was on the verge of being cancelled before Heather Locklear aka Amanda Woodward hit the scene) has been cancelled? Ever see the show "Jack & Jill" it was one of my favorites after "Felicity"…totally ended on a cliffhanger and never returned. UGGGG!!!! I totally hear you on this post!

I j'adore this show. Love it. It's mindless and silly and fun. And "Suki" makes me feel like it's a Gilmore Girls spinoff (heaven). Well played CRK. Well played. – Jen Slike Fifer
