It is the time of year where everyone is starting to look ahead to shorts and swim suits and the overall revealing of bodies that may have been in hibernation mode for the last few months. You’ll see a lot about cleanses or detoxes in advertisements and magazines at this time of year. As a health coach, one of my favorite things to do is lead my Seasonal Cleanses. I explain more in the video and you can see results for yourself in the testimonials below. We start in April and we’d love to have YOU join us. Leave a comment with an email below or contact me via the link on the right sidebar for more information and to jump start your weight-loss or increase your energy for spring!

“This has been a tremendously eye-opening experience for me. only lost about 3 pounds — but I do feel SO MUCH BETTER. I struggle with my skin and I feel like my skin is looking a bit better, too which is a huge plus for me! 🙂
I appreciate all of the support and candor each of you have shown through all of this. This has been really fun! THANK YOU!!!! “Julia M.

Know of any good cleanses for nursing moms?
Cristie says
You can do the one I lead. It’s whole foods so you’re still eating all day and nothing too wacky. Let me know if you want to hear more.

Sign me up! Any ideas on how to convince my hubs to join in?

Surprisingly, they tend to fall in line as you change the meals around them. The food isn’t all “girly” so he might be surprised!

I am kind of on the fence about doing this. I am traveling a good bit in April and May. (I actually travel some for work- and believe me it makes all diets/lifestyle eating decisions harder. I have always used that as an excuse, but I need to stop my excuses. ) Do you think this is something I should try? My travel dates are 2 weekends in April and 2 week nights toward the end of the month.
I am also going back to the couch to 5K just to get my work out a little more disciplined. (I am not starting at the beginning.) My guess is that I will need more water and protein as the workouts get more intense. Thoughts?
Cristie says
It’s only two weeks at the beginning of the month so the end of month travel dates won’t matter at all and the weekends can be worked out. Busy lifestyles/work schedules are a problem for most of the people I work with so I’m pretty adept at helping juggle. I think this is a great time because you’re at the beginning of an exercise regime and ready to get on track so what you’ll learn will help with both of those things even after the cleanse is over.
