I know the last day of summer is upon us so you might be burying your head in the sand about school. When you come up for air, you must check out Macy’s School Makeover contest. You can enter your school for a $25,000 makeover just visiting their facebook page!
Here’s all you have to do:
- Head to www.facebook.com/macys and like the page
- Click the Classroom Makeover Sweeps tab
- Fill out the entry form & submit
- Share the contest via Facebook and Twitter
Now, I have worked in public schools and private schools and I am currently a parent for a co-op preschool and a state Charter school. Through the years I have had to get creative with everything from classroom supplies to leaky library roofs and that was all before the current recession and budget crisis. What I’m saying is that each and every school out there could use a $25,000 makeover. You can be sure I’m heading over right now to enter, you should too. Quick, the contest ends September 15th so get your head out of the sand long enough for a few clicks and keystrokes!
