How much are you dying to see Ramona and Beezus? I know, it’s a kid movie but really, is there anything better than sharing your favorite things from childhood with your kids? My sister Marcie gave me my first Ramona book. Actually, I think the first one I read was a Henry Huggins and Beezus book. There was no Ramona in it-until she turned 8 of course. Whatever the case, I read every single Beverly Cleary book that included any combination of Henry, Beezus, Ramona, Ribsy. You name it, I read it. Those characters were my friends.
Now, I get to share my friends with my girl and her favorite television star is in the movie. It just gets better and better. Oh, and mama is not too upset that John Corbett and Josh Duhamel make appearances either. Thanks movie makers for thinking of the original readers when you chose your cast. Wink.

**So I tried to embed a video trailer here but I am technologically challenged and the only way I could figure out how to do it was taking HOURS to work. So instead I will go against all rules of blogging and say to you, if you want to watch-click here.

I LOVED these books growing up. I still love them, and I actually do want to see this movie! I might take one of my nieces. On another note, I received an award today for being a new follower, and I passed in on to you!
I really enjoy your posts.

Since I was given the nickname Beezus by our other older sister (she couldn't just give me the book could she?) there was no doubt I would be going to see it:) Enjoy the experience with The Girl.
