It is a crazy busy time of year, but last weekend my youngest and I skipped out on holiday responsibility and head to Liberty Science Center for some time in their newly renovated planetarium and man was it worth every second.
We saw the show Wonders of the Night Sky, which LSC describes as, “an exhilarating 45-minute experience that explores our stars and beyond.” I would have to totally agree with “exhilarating” because that is how we felt.
The renovated space contains the largest surface area screen in the western hemisphere so you really feel like you’re on a spaceship exploring the stars and planets up close. So much so that we were a little off kilter walking out of the place afterward!
I’ve written here often about Liberty Science Center. It is a family favorite for sure. And just when I think there is nothing more to say, they have something new like this incredible planetarium and all it’s star shows and sure enough, I have to tell you more.
So, guess what? Just in time for holiday school breaks, I’m giving away four tickets for admission to Liberty Science Center. I can’t think of a better way to spend a cold day off of school than among the planets and stars at LSC.
Just leave a comment below with your favorite planet. C’mon, I know you have one, we all do! (Mine’s Saturn and I got to be “in” the moons during our time in the star show. How cool is that?) I’ll draw winners this weekend. Maybe your Christmas (or late Hanukkah) miracle will be a trip to LSC.
