Asbury Park Blog Crawl

A blog crawl? Is that like the bar crawl everyone had for their 30th birthdays? Maybe a little, but with way fewer shots. No, seriously, a blog crawl is when a group of bloggers head to a particular town and learn all about what that town has to offer and then come back and share it with you. It’s like you get to visit all these cool places just by clicking from site to site one morning. A win-win right? I have loved Asbury Park since the moment we arrived in New Jersey six years ago and it has only gotten better every year we’ve lived here since. It packs so much in, that there is literally something for everyone in Asbury, from high-end restaurants for grown-up nights out to a boardwalk splash park for kids and families. You may be a lot of things in Asbury Park, but you’ll never be bored!

My stop on the blog crawl will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me: Carla Gizzi at the Beach is the cool Surf Sister store to my favorite boutique in my own town. Carla Gizzi at the Beach is inside the Convention Hall, so you can shop even off-season for anything your heart desires. My college roommate came to visit once and she described Carla’s store like this: “it’s as if every wonderful thing in my head has come to life in this place”.

I feel the same way. You can find anything your looking for as a gift or for yourself.

There is jewelry, some curated and some handcrafted by Carla herself.

Funny, sweet and sincere collections of decor for your home or beach cabana that includes signs, antique light plates and coat hooks, coasters, aprons and hand towels. I always find a new one I want when I’m there.

And of course, who can forget the fantastic clothes that Carla now stocks? In the summer the dresses and tops are to die for. Right now we’ve transitioned to fall but still very much with a beach vibe which you can never go wrong with in Asbury.

Carla Gizzi at the Beach is a must stop if you find yourself strolling the boards in Asbury any time of year.
