Healthy Skin Care That Works

The day that I met Dr. Aaron Tabor I was slightly shy and it wasn’t just because he’s a pretty dreamy guy. The reason I had trouble looking right at him across the table is because I was self-conscious. Here we were to talk about healthy skin and I was covered in a thick layer of makeup because my skin looked anything but healthy. I have that lovely misfortune of being caught in a world where I have both the wrinkles of age and the acne of my youth and that week it was at it’s worst. Let me tell ya, it sucks to look old and zitty especially at a table full of people talking about skin.

I will say that since I started eating better a few years ago, I have noticed a huge difference in my skin, but it’s still not perfect because while my diet has improved, my skin care regime had not. I’d run through the gamut of just about every type of product from drug store to high end without ever finding the perfect solution. It seems if I could afford it, it was probably full of all kinds of wacky chemicals and if it was pure and natural, it was over my budget.

Enter Dr. Tabor and his new line of Inside-Out Beauty Concept Skin Care. Listening to Dr. Tabor speak about the research behind and the development of this skin care line got me so excited about potential results, it was all I could do not to reach across the table and start smearing the stuff on my face right then-makeup and all!

All of Dr. Tabor’s products are formulated under European Safe Beauty Standards which are extremely rigorous for purity and safety. They are free from Parabens, Lauryl and Laureth Sulfates, PEGs and Glycols, Petrochemicals, Synthetic fragrances and colors, 1,4 dioxane, Phthalates and soap-based emulsifiers. These puppies are about as pure as it gets when it comes to skin creams not squeezed directly from a lemon or an olive tree.

The reason it’s called Inside Out beauty is because it’s the first line of skin care productsthat are designed to work on both the nutrients inside your body and appearance of your outside skin and the ingredients in all components (topical and internal) are designed with nutrition in mind.

The Good Morning Duo includes the topical cream Good Morning Anti-Aging Moisturizer which is designed to nourish and hydrate the skin and the Good Morning Anti-Aging Beauty Nutrients supplements which nourish and hydrate inside your body to improve the appearance of your skin from the inside. The Good Night Duo is the same: a topical cream that increases collagen production and The Replenishing Beauty Nutrients Supplements that repair damage caused by free radicals, restore hydration and rebuild the moisture barrier, from the inside all, while you sleep.

There is also the 60-Second Face Life Instant Firming Gel that you can put over makeup to give you a tighter, younger look and my favorite, the Dramatic Rescue Anti-Aging Wrinkle Serum that is exactly what it says it is-a dramatic rescue from aging! It’s all I can do not to apply this thing continuously throughout the day.

I also want to address the packaging on these products because they’re nothing short of genius. The bottles are air-tight and their pump mechanisms close and fold into the bottle top so that you can travel without risk of leaking. The Good Night Collagen Rejuvenator Cream is in a jar that is also air tight which means all those fantastic nutrients stay fresh for every application. When air (in regular bottles) hits all of these glorious vitamins and minerals, they lose their potency. So, in effect you’re applying nothing to your face after a couple of nights opening and closing your bottles and jars on other products. Dr. Tabor’sline is never exposed to air until it’s on your face so it’s just as strong after pump 40 as it is on pump one. See? Genius.

I wish I had before pictures for you, but I have to admit I was so excited to try this stuff I didn’t even wait long enough to take a picture. I can tell you I noticed an almost immediate difference in what I would call my skin’s “radiance”. It looked brighter and less ruddy after just a few days. In the two weeks since I started trying it, I have noticed the wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead aren’t as deep  and my skin feels incredibly soft. The best is that I’ve gotten a few compliments from people and they’re clearly about my skin because the “you look goods”  come with that head-tilt that actually says, “you look good but I can’t quite figure out what’s different.” I’ll tell you people, it’s my skin.

All this change is only from the topical creams so far. I haven’t tried the supplements yet because I was finishing up another set of vitamins and I didn’t want to mix. But I took my first morning dose today and I’m excited about what’s in store.
