The Middle One had pre school graduation yesterday. They do a little song and dance and then receive their diplomas. The teacher picked great songs. I openly wept (shocker!). He was amazing. Looks like the Ballerina isn’t the only performer around here.
Let’s just say he will never have to be reminded to project his voice from stage. He’s got performer volume down just fine.
Also, we were stopped by no less than ten people to either congratulate him on such a nice job and/or tell me we needed to get him an agent. Seems yesterday a star was born. There is video. But since his classmates did not sign on to have a mommy who blogs, I’ll leave their sweet faces out of it. Here are some stills of our Tony winner. Admittedly, not my best photographic work. Remember, there was open weeping.
“I wish I had a little red box to put my mommy in. I’d take her out and go muah, muah, muah and put her back again.” Seriously? Who wouldn’t weep openly?
“I love my mommy and mommy loves me and it makes me happy as happy can be. Thank you, mommy. Thank you for all that you do. Thank you mommy. Thank you and I love you.” Yes, he’s looking out of the corner of his eye because he knows where I am.
Please pass the tissues.
I have no idea why this is hotlinked. It leads nowhere. I’m emotional-don’t judge.
You’re never to big and famous to be embarrassed by your mom.
Love you sweet boy. Ever so proud.

So cute!! Congratulations D on your graduation and your performing Debut!!!
P.S. No surprise here on his performing chops -all it took was one rendition of Danny Boy to know he was a star:)
