From the time I was old enough to stand at the sink and watch my mom put on her red lipstick, I have had a love affair with makeup. The years where I sold makeup and skin care to to others, I learned this was not a universal opinion for all women. Some women hate makeup. Others are scared to try it. Here is the thing, everyone (Cindy Crawford included) looks better with a little makeup on, especially those of us who have entered our, ahem, second half.
I’ve heard all the arguments for natural looks and I hear you about your authentic beauty. But, let’s be real, no one’s natural is better than a face with a little enhancement and I’d argue that taking a bit of time to even out your skin will make you more confident and ready to change the world.
No one should be afraid of makeup and no one has to hate it anymore. The advancements in formulas make it so no one has to feel covered up or masked in anymore.
