I am sure there are thousands of deep thoughts that I should be writing about but the simple truth is I can’t think of anything right now except that fact that our AC seems to be broken. I have to leave here in two days. My sister has graciously offered to travel and take care of my kids while I am away. I have a lovely babysitter, but when I travel it makes the trip much more seamless and less stress if I have family watch my kids. But, she may be reading this right now coming up with an excuse not to come!
So, I’ll put packing and shaving and all the housekeeping that comes with a solo-mission aside in order to track down cold air repair. More likely, I will ask The Husband to call the landlord and then cross my fingers and toes and whatever else can be crossed.
Since I have left you nothing of substance this morning, travel on over to the amazing new site that launched this morning. It’s called Jersey Moms Blog and whether you’re in Jersey or not, a mom or not, you’ll love the writing you find here. Truth be told, our creative genius T. is wholly responsible for the fabulous design and our other partner B. is the genius who rounded up most of the fabulous writers as well as the brains behind Mommy Cycle-the free toy and gear trading portion of the site. Me? Well, I write and I hound other writers to join us and I tweet on Twitter and maintain our Facebook page. In short, I use my big fat mouth to shout about us from the cyber rooftops. Then when enough people know, maybe I’ll even interview a politician or two to share with the masses.
